Great educational app!!!
Mr. Hayhurst write:
As a teacher of geology I love this app. It has very good graphics and information. It's excellent for teaching and understanding plate tectonics and historical geology. I showed it to a few students and friends and they all love it too. Thanks for the great app.

Shows the educational potential of iPhone apps. Fun to play with too!
This app makes use of the touch UI to show the movement of the earth's continents over time. 200 million years fly by as you watch the continents move to their current positions . This is another app that shows the educational potential of the iPhone and iPod touch. It provides several 'events' that can be used as topics for further investigation in the classroom.
My only complaint, as a geology major, is that I would prefer that the continents be displayed in their theorized form at the given time, rather than dumbing it down and always displaying them as they look today.
